Another drop of piss from Hollywood's machine.

Whether or not anyone is in unity with me on this one I have to stress that the 1984 version of 'A nightmare on elm street' was a spine tingling masterpiece, unlike any horror movie I had ever seen- Yeah I know the sequels that followed eventually turned Freddy Krueger into more of a goofy side show host than a teen predator. The franchise finally ended some time ago with Freddy sparring off with Jason (thank christ). Now have another re-make on our plate of summer flicks. And I ask you all- really? Really? Allow me to pose this question-Do we need it? Is it just that director Michael Bay is sick of tweaking on Jerry Bruckheimers' Hemorrhoids or is simply because he just loves to join other vampires in sucking every last drop of blood from long dead franchises. I have stressed this so many times but let just say once again-Stop copying foreign films, stop re-making classics (unless you plan to do it justice) and stop for the love of talc -on- balls making shoddy prequels and sequels. Believe it or not Hollywood not every one who goes to the movies is a dumb sister- fuckin' hick!! There are still thinking people out there, it's such a shame that there doesn't seem to be any in tinsel town these days.
